I'm Jamel Alshalabe. Most of my work is in Laravel and Node.js: APIs, authentication, roles and permissions, and database design. I also build the React and Tailwind interfaces that use them. Right now I'm a backend developer at ICN Marketplace and a full stack developer at CSC Beyond.

01/Home appliances e-commerce

A home appliances e-commerce platform for Haider Murad Group in Jordan. I was responsible for the complete backend API, supporting a shopping experience with product variants, promotional offers, customer accounts, wishlists, product comparison and order tracking.

Alqassim Cars

Backend development for a car sales platform, with a searchable vehicle catalogue, detailed specifications and vehicle availability across locations.

A platform for putting together, presenting and reviewing financial proposals, with a dashboard, a live demo builder and a Node.js backend.

A course platform offering free courses across several fields, with completion certificates that anyone can verify.

Al-Abagera Inventory

05/Inventory management system

An inventory management system built for business use. It tracks stock across several locations in real time and handles orders, barcode scanning, demand forecasting and reporting, with access controlled by role.

Backend work on ICN, a global marketplace that connects buyers and sellers across web and mobile.

Good software, to me, is solid engineering plus a clear idea of who's going to use it.

I'm a full stack developer in Amman, Jordan. I studied Computer Science at Al al-Bayt University and graduated in 2025.

My work covers backend systems, APIs, database design and responsive front ends. That's mostly PHP, Laravel, MySQL, React and Tailwind CSS, with close attention to structure, security and performance.

So far that has meant an education platform, an inventory system, a proposal tool, and now the APIs behind a global marketplace.

I think in objects and modules, pick things up quickly, and do my best work as part of a team.

What I work with

The tools I reach for, grouped by what I use them for.

Backend: PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Express, MySQL, REST APIs, OOP; Where most of my time goes: REST APIs, authentication, dashboards, roles and permissions, and MySQL schemas designed to keep data correct and queries fast.
Frontend: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap; Responsive interfaces built from small, reusable components, so the front end stays as tidy as the API behind it.
Integrations: Third-party APIs, Payment gateways, Modular architecture; Connecting payment gateways, external services and AI tools to existing systems behind clean, replaceable boundaries.
Delivery: Git, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Deployment; CI pipelines, SonarQube quality gates and repeatable deployments, so releases are uneventful.
AI tools: Codex, Claude, Copilot; Part of my everyday workflow for reading code, drafting tests and moving faster through the routine parts.

How a project usually goes

Requirements, constraints and the user journey come first, before the first line of code.

Database schema, API contracts and component structure, kept modular so the next change is cheap.

Automated checks and SonarQube analysis run on every change, before anything ships.

GitHub Actions pipelines and a clean deployment workflow, then iterate on what’s live.
